New Patient Registration
The doctors welcome new patients who live within our practice area. As it often takes some time for records to be forwarded from your former practice all newly registered patients will be asked to complete a health questionnaire and are offered a consultation with the doctor.
Medical treatment is available from the date of registration. Please contact reception for further information.
We offer a full range of medical services to GMS patients with a Medical Card or doctor Visit Card, and to private patients.

Located in the North of the Town, a stones throw from Church Street, The Laurels Surgery is situated just beside the Carroll Village Shopping Centre. We have many pharmacies within a short distance of the practice.
We are signed-up to provide all GMS services. Our receptionists can guide you to what your are eligible for.
We can provide Private STD testing with access to instant (rapid 20 minute results) and laboratory (2-3 days) results.
Our sister clinic in Newry employs a full time sonography making ultrasound available to our patients often the same or next day.
As well as routine MOTs conducted at most GP clinics we have access to high end bespoke executive medicals from our Private Newry Clinic which include glossy booklets of results, up to 150 pathology tests, ultrasounds, nursing & GP follow-up included.
We are part of the Dundalk out-of-hours co-operative. The duty Doctor of the day is available on our surgery answerphone.
