Dr Morgan trained at the University of Edinburgh. Qualifying in 2004 he undertook training across Scotland & England before completing GP training in 2010 and attaining Membership of the Royal College of General Practice & a Diploma in Family Planning & Sexual Health.
Dr Morgan's hospital experience includes a number of years in Emergency Medicine, Anaesthetics & Intensive Care, Care of the Elderly, Stroke Medicine, General Medicine, Paediatrics, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Ophthalmology, Dermatology, General Surgery, Family Planning & Sexual Health. He was an undergraduate tutor for Keele University whilst a partner in England as well as spending 5 years co-running his local community hospital & minor injuries unit.
Since qualifying as a GP Dr Morgan has been a GP Partner in both England & Northern Ireland. He has experience in minor surgery, joint injections, ear microsuction, sexual health, insertion & removal of contraceptive implants, preventative & occupational medicine.
Dr Morgan opened the first Private GP Practice in Northern Ireland in 2017, Duality Health, which continues to operate in Newry.
He is passionate about General Practice & improving health outcomes for his patients.
